Ambassador Tigran Balayan delivered a lecture for the students of the University of Amsterdam

On the 28th June, Ambassador Tigran Balayan delivered an online lecture for the students of the University of Amsterdam. With a historical overview the RA Ambassador presented to the students centuries-old relations between the Armenian and Dutch peoples, touched upon the current state of bilateral relations and the prospects of their development.

Balayan also talked about the incentives of the aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh in 2020, challenges in the aftermath of the war, the Armenian war prisoners that still remain in Azerbaijani custody and Baku’s continuous encroachments on the sovereign territory of Armenia in the post-war period.

At the end of the lecture the ambassador addressed questions of the students.
